Our History
It all started in year 1977 when a young Paco Franco took over the direction of the hotel Don Carlos beach restaurant, “Altitud Cero”, which he renamed “Merendero Cristina”.
In 1987, after 10 years of continuous success with the hotel Don Carlos, he opens his own beach restaurant which he also named Merendero Cristina, continuing with the work philosophy which had so greatly rewarded him in the past.
Nowadays, his sons Javier, David and Jorge maintain alive the spirit of service and the eagerness to improve that which their father started back in 1977..
So we were some time ago …
We have rescued a video of the year 1984 made by the GBC of our restaurant, when we were at the DON CARLOS hotel.
You can verify that the work philosophy has not changed since those years.
